On October 17, 2018, Cannabis officially became legal in Canada, but it’s still on the World Anti Doping Association (WADA) Prohibited List. The only thing you should be rolling is your IT bands!

Athletes subject to the Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP), and all who are registered with Canadian Sport Institute/PacificSport Networks of Regional Centres, must be aware that this does not affect the status of cannabis in sport. Cannabis continues to be a prohibited substance and a positive test can still result in a sanction.
This Kit contains materials for our partners in sport, to do just that – to provide clear information on this topic to your athletes, your students, your faculty and staff and your coaches. It is designed to help protect them from inadvertent doping violations, to encourage learning, and to optimize their opportunities for success.
