Jack Miller is an active coach and athlete. He coaches recreational and elite distance runners and has completed 53 marathons (all sub-three hours) himself. He became involved with PacificSport because he believes that “helping to provide better opportunities for coaches and athletes is a very important component of the sport delivery system in BC and in Canada.”

Jack is a graduate of UVic (B.Ed. and M.Ed.) and UBC (Education Doctorate) and is an assistant professor at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops where he teaches Physical Education Methods courses in the Bachelor of Education (Elementary) program as well as supervising student teachers. His volunteer commitments include the Coaches Association of BC, Past-President; and as a Board Member for the Kamloops Action for Healthy Communities Society.
