Barbara Warsimage enjoys watching all sports but has a soft spot for softball, a sport she played, coached and managed for nearly 40 years. Barbs’ reason for being involved with PacificSport is to “be part of helping hometown athletes train in Kamloops and go on to compete at elite events such as Nationals, Worlds and the Olympic Games.”
As the manager/charge nurse at the Gaumont Residence Community Care Facility, Barbara is a certified Registered Psychiatric Nurse and graduate of the Riverview School of Nursing in Port Coquitlam. Her other volunteer activities include the Kamloops Sports Council (Treasurer) and the Kamloops Sport Council (Chair from 1991-2003), and the Kamloops Hall of Fame Committee.
